West Westmoreland MP Denies Claim of Neglecting Drains

Member of Parliament, MP, for Western Westmoreland, Morland Wilson, is dismissing claims by People’s National Party caretaker, Ian Hayles, that several drains across the constituency are being neglected.

Hayles made the claim in a release on Wednesday.  According to him, several drains have not been cleaned since the passage of Tropical Storm Rafael last Tuesday. 

He called on the councillors and MP to utilise state funds and tend to them before the next round of rains due this week.

But in a swift response, MP Wilson says his team has been in the field for months carrying out drain cleaning activities.
