Prominent PNP Activist Ricardo ‘Taz’ James has Died

Prominent People’s National Party, PNP, activist Ricardo ‘Taz’ James has died.

James, who reportedly had a dry cough for several weeks, drove himself to a doctor’s office in Spanish Town, St. Catherine early on Thursday morning.

Nationwide News understands he died in the waiting room of the medical facility.

James was a former general secretary of the PNP Youth Organization.

He was the Constituency Secretary and Campaign Manager for the MP for North Central St Catherine, Natalie Neita Garvey.

Nationwide News also understands that James’ brother, who lives overseas, died on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Opposition Leader and PNP President, Mark Golding, writing on Instagram, says James was a dedicated comrade warrior and a joyful soul.

He extended sincere condolences to his family, friends and the entire North Central St Catherine team.
