PNPUK Writes to PM Sunak About TPP Owner’s ‘Dangerous’ Remarks

The UK branch of the People’s National Party, has written to the British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak about alleged racist comments made by head of The Phoenix Partnership, Frank Hester.

Hester is quoted as saying pioneering black British Member of Parliament, Dianne Abbott made him hate all black women, and that she should be shot.

Abbott, who was born in England to Jamaican parents, has reported the matter to the Metropolitan Police. They have opened an investigation.

Hester’s comments have been widely condemned as racist and misogynistic.

His company has been contracted by the Jamaican government to implement the electronic health records project.

Opposition Spokesman on Health, Dr. Alfred Dawes, has raised concerns about the contract, in light of Hester’s comments.

Ms. Abbott has also said the Holness administration should rethink the business relationship.

In its letter to the British prime minister, PNPUK highlighted what it says are the dangerous implications of racism and misogyny in healthcare services.

It’s calling on the British prime minister to revoke all contracts between Hester’s company and Britain’s National Health Service, NHS.

PNPUK has called on Sunak and other political leaders to take a stand against racism and safeguard the well-being of all individuals.

Jamaica’s Ministry of Health has called for Frank Hester to face internal sanction from The Phoenix Partnership if he’s found to have made the inflammatory comments.

But health and wellness minister, Dr. Chris Tufton, has denied any impropriety in the awarding of the contract to Hester’s company.
