Prime Minister Andrew Holness says he has had direct talks with members of parliament about the things they can do better, with the administration now into its fifth year in office.
He made the comment while speaking at a Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, meeting held last Saturday at Newell High School in St Elizabeth.
Prime Minister Holness says on his watch, the JLP has changed politics for the better over the last eight years.
Meanwhile, the prime minister says the general distrust within the population has even affected the efficiency of his government.
He says the administration could have achieved much more were it not for the stifling levels of bureaucracy in the public sector.
The prime minister says its his mission to free the country from its bureaucratic chains.
