MP Charles Jr. Blames PNP For Voter Apathy Among Young People

Member of Parliament for South East Clarendon, Pearnel Charles Junior, says the People’s National Party, PNP, is to be blamed for the increase in the youth population who have a negative view of local politics.

Addressing a JLP conference in Portland on Sunday, the Minister says the PNP’s consistent negative narrative about what’s happening is turning off young people.

Mr. Charles urged young people to examine the achievements of the JLP and the PNP when they are deciding which party is the better choice.
