Minister of Legal and Constitutional Affairs, Marlene Malahoo Forte, says Prime Minister Andrew Holness will soon provide a response to the matter of Jamaica’s final appellate court.
The People’s National Party has long called on the prime minister to declare his and his government’s position on whether the country should move away from the UK based Privy Council.
Minister Malahoo Forte says she’ll also be publishing the views of the CRC on the issues raised by Mr. Golding regarding the committee’s recommendations.
