JLP Agents Predict ‘Transfer of Power’ to Smith in NW St Andrew By-Election

Indoor agents for the Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, say they’re expecting victory for North West St. Andrew candidate, Duane Smith, in Friday’s by-election despite what is expected to be a low voter turnout.

One agent spoke with Nationwide News Friday morning.

A JLP supervisor in Meadowbrook told Nationwide News that the by-election is simply a transition of power from Dr. Nigel Clarke to Duane Smith.
