Isat Buchanan Officially Presented as PNP’s Caretaker in East Portland

People’s National Party, PNP, president Mark Golding presented attorney-at-law Isat Buchanan to comrades in East Portland on Sunday.

As the party’s caretaker for the constituency, Buchanan is getting ready to challenge sitting member of parliament, the Jamaica Labour Party’s Ann Marie Vaz.

In reference to Buchanan’s criminal past, Golding defended him with quotes from the Bible. He described Buchanan as righteous and wise.

Golding also praised him for his role in getting the court to release dancehall star Vybz Kartel from prison.
