There appears to be internal controversy brewing in the governing Jamaica Labour Party, JLP.
This, after councillor for the Rae Town division in Central Kingston, Rosalie Hamilton, accused some JLP members of parliament for being disrespectful to those who elected them.
According to Ms. Hamilton, the level of neglect across some constituencies is ruining the party’s chances at the next general polls.
Councillor Hamilton made the claims in a leaked voice note obtained by Nationwide News.

As the governing JLP gears up to try and secure a third term in office in the next general election, Councillor Rosalie Hamilton is urging the party to address some issues stalling its progress.
According to Councillor Hamilton, some members of parliament are so caught up in their position that they fail to treat others with respect.
Miss Hamilton also signalled out Delroy Williams, Desmond McKenzie and Winston Ennis for failing to address pressing issues regarding MPs in various constituencies.
The long-time JLP councillor also called out some of her colleagues for being mere opportunists.
