Government Senator Abka Fitz-Henley is describing as barefaced and delusional, a claim by PNP aspirant for North East St. Ann, Dr. Ryan Simpson, that Jamaica is at risk of becoming like Haiti.
Speaking at a PNP meeting in the Bellefield Division in Manchester on Sunday, Dr. Simpson says this could happen if the PNP does not form the next government.
Chevon Campbell reports.
The PNP aspirant for North East St. Ann said he’s certain that doom awaits the Jamaican people if the JLP gets another term in office.
He told his audience that the JLP has presided over a situation that has facilitated income inequality and created imbalance in the lives of the people.
But Senator Fitz-Henley is hitting back. He says a cursory look at history will confirm that the PNP caretaker’s comment is not only untrue but audacious.
Senator Fitz-Henley says the JLP will not be distracted by utterances from the PNP.
