Commentators Want PNP to Detail Plans For Finance & Education at Annual Conference

Political commentators are urging the Opposition People’s National Party, PNP, to detail their plans for the country’s finance and education portfolios, should they form the next government.

The comments come as the party prepares for its 86th Annual Conference on Sunday.

The high stakes gathering is being billed as the PNP’s last conference before next year’s general election.

Political commentator Suelle Anglin says the issues plaguing the education sector and the imminent departure of Finance Minister, Dr. Nigel Clarke, are strong talking points for the party to address.

Fellow commentator Sandre Rhoden agrees.

Mr Rhoden added that while the JLP has had a successful run in the Finance Ministry, the departure of the portfolio Minister should create an opening for the PNP’s future plans.
