Clarke Denies Prior Knowledge of Contents of AudG Reports

Finance Minister Dr. Nigel Clarke says he wasn’t aware of the contents of the two special reports from the Auditor General before they were tabled.

During a debate on the Appropriations Bill on Wednesday, opposition senator, Peter Bunting, said he found it curious the two reports in question from the Auditor General concern two areas that fall under the finance ministry.

Dr. Clarke is also refuting claims made by Senator Bunting that his defence of House Speaker Juliet Holness was cloaked in self interest.
