PNP general secretary, Dr. Dayton Campbell, is rubbishing claims that the findings of the recent PNP-commissioned polls are not credible.
The poll, conducted by pollster Don Anderson, shows that the popularity of PNP president, Mark Golding, is on the rise. It also revealed that the PNP had a near-eight-point lead over the governing JLP.
The poll was conducted between April 4 and 12.
Member of Parliament for South West St. Catherine, the JLP’s Everald Warmington, has stated that the results were not credible.
But Dr. Campbell says when previous poll results revealed that the party was behind the JLP, he never denied their credibility.
He was speaking to PNP supporters at a divisional conference in Bellefield, Manchester, on Sunday.
Dr. Campbell told comrades that the latest poll findings validate the work done by the party to improve Mr. Golding’s favourability.
