Attorney-at-law Isat Buchanan, who the People’s National Party, PNP, has named as its representative in East Portland for the next parliamentary election, says constituents should expect in him someone who will elevate their circumstances.
Buchanan toured sections of the constituency on Wednesday. He greeted PNP supporters at Hall’s Avenue, popularly called Free School, and in the Port Antonio town centre.
Buchanan is set to face sitting member of parliament, the Jamaica Labour Party’s Ann-Marie Vaz in the next parliamentary election, constitutionally due by September 2025.
He says he was chosen by the people and is confident of a win.
