2024 breakout Reggae artiste and grandson of Bob Marley, Joshua Nesta Marley who is more commonly known as YG Marley was present at Reggae Sumfest 2024 on July 19 where he performed his hit songs ‘Praise Jah In The Moonlight‘ and ‘Survival‘.

Despite overcast conditions and rainy weather across Jamaica, Friday night going into Saturday morning, the annual show was seemingly a success topped off by several memorable performances.

The young Marley entered the stage with a ‘big splif’ in hand, greeted the crowd and proceeded to put on a spiritual performance, calling up multiple artistes during his set.

Notably, YG Marley called on Jahshii after calling on a previous artiste, his brother Zion. Jahshii took to the stage singing his hit song ‘Born Fighter‘ which caused an uproar from the gathered crowd.

About 30 minutes into his performance, YG Marley’s mother “the special guest” Lauryn Hill entered the stage as fans celebrated the occasion. Ass Hill entertained patrons, YG Marley watched from the side of the stage with his big spliff fully blazing.

After His mother performed some of her hit songs, YG Marley returned to performing, singing arguably the biggest Reggae song of the year so far, ‘Praise Jah In The Moonlight’.

The performance ended with an impromptu performance of Bob Marley’s ‘Turn Your Lights Down Low‘ from YG Marley, Lauryn Hill along with MC Pretty Boy Floyd.
