The West Indies took a 1-0 lead in their two-Test series after beating Bangladesh by 201 runs at the Sir Vivian Richards stadium, on Tuesday.
Chasing 334 to win, Bangladesh reached 132 when number-11 batsman Shoriful Islam was forced to retire hurt after being hit on the shoulder by a delivery from Alzarri Joseph.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz made 45, Jaker Ali, 31, and Litton Das, 22.
Jayden Seales and Alzarri Joseph both picked up five wickets in the match. Seales bagged three second inning wickets and Joseph got two.
Meanwhile, Kemar Roach got three second inning wickets and four in the match.
Final scores, West Indies 450 for 9 declared, and 152, Bangladesh 269 for 9 declared and 132 for 9.
