What Can Go So?… Macka Diamond Says her Collab with Derrick is “Hottest Song Right Now”

As her viral song with TikToker Derrick Morgan What Can Go So gains traction on social media and on Youtube, Macka Diamond declared that the track is the hottest song in rotation.

Sharing a photo of her and Derrick on social media on Sunday, the Cow Foot deejay wrote, “Big up to #derrickmorgan we shook them🤣🤣🤣 WHAT CAN GO SO 🔥🔥🔥 hottest song right now.”

By building upon her already-established fanbase and appearing alongside popular TikTokers, Macka Diamond has renewed interest in her musical releases. Her latest release, What Can Go So, was produced by Toots Music Production and Diamond Nation and released on November 4.

What Can Go So is thriving on social media, for which the song appears to have been built specifically. The single highlights multiple TikToker’s and popular personalities in Macka’s verses.

While Macka Diamond name-drops several people, undoubtedly the lyrics from the single that have gone viral are Derrick’s contribution to the song.

While some have dismissed the song as nothing but a gimmick track, clips from the song have gone viral on TikTok, and the single’s music video has so far acquired over 519, 000 views. Additionally, What Can Go So is currently #10 on trending videos on YouTube, beating out artistes such as Skillibeng and Pablo YG for a place in the top 10.

A prominent female figure in Dancehall in the early 2000s, Macka Diamond became well known for songs such as I Want A Man and Bun Him featuring Lady G and Black-er, respectively. Amid TikTok’s surge in popularity both locally and internationally, Macka Diamond has joined the legion of Jamaicans flocking to the platform to build an audience.
