West Indies Fall into 2-0 Hole in T20 Series Against England

England beat the West Indies by seven wickets at Kensington Oval in Barbados on Sunday to take a 2-0 lead in their five match T20 international series.

The West Indies top order again failed to spark as the team was restricted to 158 for 8 in their 20 overs.

Skipper Rovman Powell top scored with 43, extras was the next best at 29 while Romario Shepherd made 22.

England then made light work of the target, reaching 161 for 3 off 15 overs.

Captain Josh Buttler made 83 from 45 balls with eight fours and six sixes, sharing in a second wicket stand of 129 with Will Jacks, who made 38.

Shepherd claimed two wickets for 42 for the Windies.

Losing captain Rovman Powell says the inconsistency of the top order continues to hamper the team.

The series now moves to St. Lucia for the last three games and Powell says the players should be aware of what it will take to bounce back.
