The inaugural WAV (World A Vibes) Music Fest gears up to unveil a new realm of musical enchantment in the city of New York next year. Promising a fusion of euphoria, joy, liberation, and exceptional musical delight, the music festival is set to make its grand début on March 28, 2025, at the UBS Arena.
“New York epitomises vibrancy, cultural diversity, and an unmatched pulse of energy – the city that stays alive round the clock. Known for its entertainment hub and cultural diversity, New York is the perfect stage to launch this groundbreaking festival and introduce this innovative musical concept,” the organisers said in a press release.
With its aim to promote and celebrate fresh talent on prominent platforms, while contributing to the elevation of cultural appreciation and artistic expressions in society, WAV Music Fest marks the début of a full dancehall show at UBS Arena.
The lineup features the Queen of Dancehall and Love & Hip Hop star, Spice; the chart-topping and dynamic dancehall performer Dexta Daps; alongside the Billboard chart-topping artiste Kranium; the innovative and popular dancehall musician Skeng; Valiant and promising rising star Kraff.
This upcoming extravaganza, meeting the demand in the concert market for a platform gathering groundbreaking talents.
UBS Arena, a space made for music and built for hockey, is New York’s newest premier entertainment and sports venue and proud home of the New York Islanders.
Since opening in November 2021, the state-of-the-art arena has welcomed top artistes from around the globe, among them Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Chris Stapleton, Dua Lipa, Drake, Harry Styles, Marc Anthony and Suga.
