UNC screens five more seats

The United National Congress (UNC) has announced that it will hold a screening for nominees for five electoral seats in preparation for upcoming elections. The screening will take place on Thursday, December 12, 2024, starting at 4:00 PM at the party’s headquarters in Chaguanas, Trinidad and Tobago.

The five seats that will be screened are:

1. Arima

2. Arouca/Maloney

3. D’Abadie/O’Meara

4. Lopinot/Bon Air West

5. St. Augustine

With the exception of St. Augustine, all of these seats are currently held by the ruling People’s National Movement (PNM).
