Sunshine Girls win inaugural Horizon Series

With a dominant display in the final quarter of the deciding game of the Vitality Netball Horizon Series, the Sunshine Girls won the inaugural four-game series 2-1 with a stunning 61-53 win over England at the National Indoor Sports Centre.

Romeldo Aiken-George led the way for the Sunshine Girls, scoring 39 shots from her 43 attempts on the night.

The match was Jamaica's second home win against England's Vitality Roses after yesterday's 50-49 win to level the series.

The Jamaicans had come from behind to tie the first game 49-49, while the second game ended in a 55-47 defeat for Jamaica.
