President of the St. Elizabeth Football Association, Patrick Malcolm, hopes the Jamaica Football Federation, JFF, will expand the number of teams playing in the Wary and Nephew/Jamaica Premier League to 16.
The only team from St. Elizabeth Treasure Beach has been relegated from the country’s top league after just one season.
Malcolm says the recommendation was made my the board.
Malcolm, who is also the chairman of the South Central region, is also calling on corporate Jamaica and the government to do more for the development of the sport locally.
