Sprinter Oblique Seville Inspires Next Generation at Adidas Day Activities

Top Jamaican sprinter Oblique Seville was the featured athlete at Adidas Day activities on the grounds of Immaculate Conception High School in St. Andrew Jamaica on Saturday.

The 23-year-old Seville who reached the 100 metre final at the Paris Olympics Games this past summer, fielded questions from members of the Immaculate track team which is sponsored by Adidas.

Seville took questions on his early season preparations, his performance in Paris and his plans for the 2025 season, among others.

Seville caused a stir when he beat world and Olympic champion Noah Lyles at the Racers Grand Prix. He told Nationwide Sports that he was only too happy to impart his knowledge on the budding young stars.

Adidas Day activities at Immaculate has become an annual event. It serves as a precursor to the school’s preparation for the various meets in the new season.

World 400 metre champion Antonio Watson and world under 20 400 metre record holder, Roshawn Clarke, also made appearances at Adidas Day last year.
