Sports Psychologist Becomes First Jamaican to Receive Credentials From IOC

Jamaican licensed clinical & sports psychologist and the Founder and CEO of Elite Sports Psychology, Dr. Jason Scott Hamilton, has made history as the first Jamaican to receive a diploma in the Treatment of Mental Health in Elite Athletes from the International Olympic Committee.

In a graduation ceremony held at the IOC Head Quarters in Geneva, Switzerland, on October 28th, Dr. Hamilton proudly stood among his peers, comprising 42% of successful program completers.

He now joins the ranks of 66 graduates from 34 countries since the program’s inception in 2021.

Dr. Hamilton says he’s now receiving request from sporting teams from around world.
