Soca mom-to-be Tika Rutherford dances through Carnival

Being eight months pregnant is no deterrent for former Miss Universe Jamaica finalist Tika Rutherford. The long-time soca lover says while she is not officially jumping with a band, she could not miss the road march.

“I feel great. Absolutely ecstatic,” she said.

Rutherford shared that when she got pregnant, she thought she would not be able to participe in this year’s Carnival activities. “Shockingly, I don’t look eight months [pregnant] and I have all the energy in the world, so I said, why not come and enjoy myself?”

The mom-to-be says she will be having a baby boy and will name him Arthur.
