Scorpions – Red Force Game Abandoned Due to Rain

The top of the table clash in the CG United regional Super 50 cricket competition between the Jamaica Scorpions and champions the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force, was abandoned without a ball bowled because of rain at the Brian Lara Stadium today.

Both teams will be awarded with three points as a result, which keeps the Red Force on top of the standings with 19 points, two ahead of the Scorpions who are in second place with 17 and Barbados a point behind in third with 16 points.

The Scorpions will next be in action on Friday when they face the Leeward Islands Hurricanes at the Brian Lara Stadium.

Two more games will be played tomorrow, the West Indies Academy battles Barbados Pride and Combined Campuses against the Windward Islands Volcanoes.
