England took a winning 3-0 lead in their five match T20 International series against the West Indies after securing a three wicket victory in game three in St. Lucia on Thursday night.
The West Indies slumped to 37 for 5 before captain Rovman Powell, 54, and Romario Shepherd, 30, rescued the innings with a 73 run sixth-wicket stand.
They guided the Windies to a more respectable 145 for 8 as Alzarri Joseph chipped in with 22 not out. Saqib Mahmood and Jaimie Overton bagged three wickets each.
In reply, England comfortably got to 149 for 7 with four balls to spare.
Sam Curran 41, Liam Livingston, 39, and Will Jacks, 32, got most runs against Akeal Hossein 4 for 22.
West Indies captain Rovman Powell admitted that his team was just not good enough on the night.
Powell say it is a difficult balancing act going for early runs and keeping wickets intact.
