Over 190,000 Applications So Far for Reverse Income Tax Credit

Over 190,000 Jamaicans have now successfully applied for the government’s Reverse Income Tax Credit.

That’s according to an update by Finance Minister Dr. Nigel Clarke on X on Monday.

The Reverse Income Tax Credit will see Jamaicans who earn $3 million or less per year, receiving a $20,000 cash payment this fiscal year.

People who are eligible for the benefit can visit the Tax Administration Jamaica website to apply.

The application period for the one-off benefit is open until December 2.
