MP and 2 of her children perish in house fire

The country woke up to an unimaginable tragedy Member of Parliament, and Government Minister Lisa Morris-Julian and two of her children died in an early morning fire at their Farfan Street, Arima home. The fire started at 5:30 am and quickly engulfed the house, trapping three of the eight occupants who were allegedly asleep at the time. While the cause of the blaze is yet to be determined, the fire service’s delayed response is now under scrutiny. Kejan Haynes was at the scene and filed this report.
