Omolora Wilson is Miss Jamaica Festival Queen 2024.

Representing the parish of St Elizabeth, Wilson also claimed the sectional prize for Most Culturally Aware, Most Active in the Community and Best Performance.

She was crowned at the National Indoor Sports Centre on Saturday night.

Miss Manchester Shonnoya Houston was first runner-up and Miss Kingston and St Andrew Daindra Harrison, who also received the sectional award for Most Popular on Social Media was named second runner-up.

Miss Portland Tamesha Wilson was named Best in Gown and Most Poised and Miss Hanover Sornia Samuels, Most Congenial.

Wilson is the second Miss St Elizabeth to win the national Miss Jamaica Festival Queen title since Dainalyn Swaby’s victory in 2017.

A former guild president of The University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona, the 24-year-old Rastafarian from New Market is pursuing a master’s degree in marketing and data analysis at UWI Mona and merging academic excellence with advocacy for body positivity and the rights of women and children.

Her community project, Signed Seal Jamaica, aims to introduce sign language into local schools.

“This project aims to make our culture inclusive for all, promoting respect and understanding through diverse forms of communication,” Wilson explained in a June 2024 interview following her parish win.

With the passing of Hurricane Beryl and the impact it has had on Jamaica's south parishes, including her home parish of St Elizabeth, the popular queen has aided in recovery efforts.
