Masicka released his latest track on Wednesday which was accompanied by a music video. At the end of October, the Reverse Time artiste announced that he would be releasing a new project on his 31st birthday.

Masicka described the unnamed project as his best work yet, and many fans speculated that he would release a new album this month as he did with Generations of Kings in 2023.

While he has not debuted a new full-length album, Masicka released the music video for his new track ‘Trophies’ on YouTube following Whites a month ago. The music video shows the lyricist hard at work in the studio as he relishes in the thought of what he has accomplished so far and what he wishes to attain during his journey.

“Someday I’ma look at these trophies. Tell my kids my story. Someday I’ma write my name across the world; please don’t worry. Someday I’ma find my peace someday outside these streets,” Masicka deejays on the track.

The artiste goes on to proudly showcase his Billboard plaques in the Akka.Ruppi-directed music video. Masicka received the plaques in recognition of his album 438 opening at #2 on the Reggae Albums Charts and peaking at #14 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Album Charts.

As Masicka continues into the second verse of the track, the lyricist showcases his relentless nature.

“Mi get a clip and mi load it. Nuff a dem a switch and mi notice… Nuh forgiveness rest di clock pon him nose bridge. Devil a talk enuh but a God a mi fortress. Weh mi do? Kill dem wid more hits.”
