JFF mourns loss of former national physiotherapist

President of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) Michael Ricketts has joined the growing voices supporting the family of former Reggae Boyz physiotherapist Dr. Charlie Roberts, who recently passed away.

Roberts served as Reggae Boyz physiotherapist throughout their historic run to the France 1998 FIFA World Cup. President Ricketts labels Roberts as ‘loyal and ‘committed’.

“He was always on call, ensuring the players returned to the field soon after injuries. He was outstanding in this regard. His loyalty and commitment to the cause was unquestioned. To his wife Denise, family and friends, please accept our sympathy for your loss. May his soul rest in peace,” Ricketts said.
