Jamaica’s National Senior Cricket team continues to steamroll the opposition at the West Indies women’s championships in St. Kitts and Nevis.

The Stafanie Taylor led unit beat the Windward Islands by three wickets at St. Paul’s in their latest game this afternoon.

After a lengthy delay to the start of play due to rain, the Windwards were restricted to 175 for 9 in 45 overs Pearl Ettienne making 58, Jennilea Glasgow 38 and Afy Fletcher 31.

Chinelle Henry was impressive bagging 6 for 31 in 8 overs.

Rashada Williams then blasted 72 off 101 balls and Nancy McLean 50 to steer Jamaica to 176 for 7 in 36.1 overs.

There were two wickets each for Amia Gilbert and Carena Noel.

Jamaica will next be in action on Wednesday when they face Guyana in the first set of return games.

In other results today Guyana stopped Trinidad and Tobago by 61 runs and champions Barbados crushed the Leewards by 8 wickets.
