Jamaica Scorpions Close Day-1 Without Loss Against West Indies Academy

The Jamaica Scorpions were 20 without loss at close on day one of their fourth round regional four day game against the West Indies Academy at Sabina Park.

Earlier Joshua Dorne slammed 83 on debut and Jamaica’s Jordon Johnson 61 to steer the West Indies Academy to 324 all out in 82 overs.

Kadeem Allyne weighed in with 59, Joshua James 36 and Rashawn Worrell 25.

Derval Green ended with 3 for 48 and Ojay Shield 3 for 38 while Abijhai Mansingh claimed 2 for 69.

At the Queen’s Park Oval, host Trinidad and Tobago Red Force closed on 89 for 1 after bowling out the Windward Islands Volcanoes for 191….Kevaughn Ottley made 47.

Alec Athanaze 56 and Sunil Ambris 36 led the Volcanes batting against Anderson Phillip 5 for 37, Khary Pierre 3 for 31 and Jayden Seales 2 for 48.

At Coolidge Guyana Harpy Eagles reached close on 231 for 5 against Barbados Pride.

Kevin Anderson slammed 87, Tevin Imlach 55 and Tagernarine Chanderpaul 40.

While at the Sir Frank Worrell Memorial Ground the Leeward Islands Hurricanes were 20 for 1 at close 273 all out by the Combined Campuses and Colleges team.

Amari Goodridge 75 led the CCC batting with support from Sadique Henry 73 and Romario Greaves 58
