Jamaica’s national men’s under 17 football team could create history tomorrow and book a third appearance at the FIFA World Cup later this year in Qatar.
The young Reggae Boyz will face El Salvador in their final Group D game at the Concacaf qualifiers in Guatemala starting at 7pm Jamaica time.
The team needs only to avoid defeat to qualify for the World Cup as they go into the game on joint six points with the Salvadorians, but are ahead on goal difference.
Assistant coach Carlton Simmonds, is backing the Boyz to come away with all three points.

Jamaica has so far scored 13 goals and conceded two at the tournament, while El Salvador has scored ten without conceding……
Jamaica’s previous appearances at the Under 17 World Cup came in 1999 and 2011.
