Jamaica maintained their 100% record at the West Indies women’s cricket championship, following a five wicket win over Trinidad and Tobago, at Conaree in St. Kitts, today.

Kate Wilmott 3 for 33 and Nakeita Watts 2 for 28, combined to help dismiss the Trinis, for 168 inside 44 overs.

Lee-Ann Kirby 48 and Samara Ramnath 29, were the leading scorers.

Jamaica replied with 172 for 5 in 32 overs, with Chadean Nation slamming 70 and captain Stafanie Taylor 38.

Ramnath claimed 3 for 24 as Trinidad and Tobago suffered their third straight defeat.

The Jamaicans who have strengthened their position atop the standings, will next be in action on Monday against the Windward Islands at St. Paul’s

Meanwhile, Guyana suffered their first defeat of the campaign, they lost by four wickets to defending champions Barbados at St. Paul’s.

Barbados set 129 to win, achieved the target in 41.4 overs losing six wickets as the Knight sisters Kycia 69 not out and Kyshona 39 led the batting.

West Indies player Shermaine Campbell 53 led the Guyana batting against Allison Gordon 4 for 19 and Keila Elliott 3 for 29.

At Warner Park the Winward Islands crushed the Leeward Islands by 115 runs.

The Leewards were skittled out for 155 in 32 overs after the Windwards set them 271 for victory.
