Sting is set to return to the Jamworld Entertainment Center on December 26, with upcoming Dancehall/Reggae artiste Inpha Reblitive joining the iconic stage show’s list of artistes slated to perform.
Known for songs such as W.G.B. (Weed, Gun & Bible), Inpha has garnered new attention with his single Pretty & Petty featuring Destiny Sparta on the Great Standards Riddim, alongside Vybz Kartel and Sikka Rymes. In addition to the likes of Vybz Kartel, Inpha has also collaborated on singles with Shane O, Lisa Hyper, Jafrass, Gold God, and Tommy Lee Sparta, who recently included him in one of his performances.
Otherwise known as Montie Martin, the artiste is a native of Clarendon and was raised in the volatile community of Raymonds. He was thrust into the hardships of growing up with only one parent after losing his father at 11 years old.
It was at the age of 15 that Inpha’s love of music was ignited, and he began to rely on it to express himself as he and his family faced difficult times. The second of three children for his father and the first three for his mother, the Questions deejay assumed the role of breadwinner for his family at 18.
He worked assiduously to make sure that their basic needs were met and along the way used his life to fuel inspiration for his songs, such as his tracks Rose & Wreath and Papa Proud. The artiste’s moniker, Inpha Reblitive, was coined after using other temporary names during the early days of his musical journey.
Following several conversations with friends, Inpha Reblitive was constructed to signify his emotional graphic and lyrical musical content and the cohesive effort that he executes. Focused on bringing his unique expression to the forefront of the Dancehall/Reggae industry, Inpha consistently works on new music to master his craft.
The artiste is set to release the Deejay LUX-produced track Harden Mi Heart soon while his singles Fulla Gyal, Dwarf, Pit to Pulpit and Alone are available now.
