The Insurance Company Of The West Indies, ICWI, Jamaica Reach To Recovery Pink Run achieved a remarkable milestone in the fight against breast cancer.
This year’s event raised an impressive $19 million, just one million shy of its $20-million goal, underscoring the unwavering commitment of the Jamaican community to support those affected by breast cancer.
Funds raised will go directly towards providing critical resources such as treatment, counselling, and financial assistance to breast cancer patients and their families across the island.
These funds will also help to expand access to early detection services, especially for women in rural areas, where resources are often limited.
The support shown by over 11,000 participants and the generous contributions from donors and sponsors will ensure that countless individuals will benefit from life-changing assistance.
