Hill Wants Jamaica’s Large Companies to Invest in MSMEs

Minister of industry, Investment and Commerce, Senator Aubyn Hill, is encouraging Jamaica’s elite companies to invest heavily in local micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, MSMEs.

The minister was speaking Wednesday at the EXPORT-Jamaica Launch and Re-branding Ceremony at the ROK Hotel in Kingston.

EXPORT-Jamaica is a platform focused on transforming how local businesses access critical market intelligence and navigate compliance requirements for markets globally.

Senator Hill says proper cooperation between large corporations and MSMEs will benefit the country.

Senator Hill wants bigger companies to ensure the money they spend is directed more within Jamaica’s borders than on importing from other countries.
