Captain of the West Indies women, Hayley Matthews, hit a half century to guide the Caribbean side to a 9-wicket win over India in the second T20 International in Mumbai, today.
The Win helped the Windies level the 3-match series 1-1.
Matthews’ unbeaten 85 came off 47-balls and included 17-fours, while Qiana Joseph made 38 and Shemaine Campbelle 29.
Earlier, India made 159 for 9 off their 20 overs.
Smriti Mandhana made 62, and Richa Ghosh 32.
Final scores, India 159 for 9, West Indies 160 for 1.
Matthews says they were determine to level the series.
