Reigning Olympic 110-metres hurdles champion, Hansle Parchment, says he’s focus on retaining his title at the Paris Summer Games.
Parchment won his first senior global gold medal at the Tokyo Games in 2021.
He shocked favourite Grant Holloway to win in 13.04, with compatriot Ronald Levy claiming bronze at 13.10.
Speaking on Citius Mag, Parchment says he’s aware that a number of athletes are lining up to take the title off him.
At 31-year-old Parchment became the oldest male athlete to win the 110-metres hurdles in Olympic history, with the gold arriving nine years after he took bronze at London 2012.
Parchment says he’s adopted Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce’s formula for longevity.
