A goal from Omarion O'Brian in the dying moments of the game sparked a dramatic end to the 2024 ISSA daCosta Cup final as Garvey Maceo clipped first-time finalist McGrath High 5-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
McGrath were seconds away from history as a goal from Devone Davis in the 15th minute gave them the early lead which they defended throughout the contest.
However, O'Brian brought rain to McGrath's parade as his solo effort in added time pulled the Cubanz level and sparked their revival for a 5-3 win in the penalty shootout.
The win gives Garvey Maceo their third hold on the daCosta Cup title and sets up a date against Kingston College in the Olivier Shield.
Earlier in the afternoon, St Elizabeth Technical High clipped Clarendon College 3-1 to lift the Ben Francis knockout title.
