Police arrested a man and seized a firearm along with ammunition during an anti-crime exercise in the Western Division on Friday, September 20, 2024.
Officers searched a bar at the corner of Western Main Road and King Street in Carenage. They discovered a Draco Assault Rifle and 37 rounds of 7.62 ammunition hidden in a knapsack.
The officers confiscated the illegal items and took an 18-year-old man from Carenage into custody.
