Final of Pocket Rocket Foundation Six-a-Side Set for Sunday

The grand finale of the Pocket Rocket Foundation Six-A-Side ‘Peace Through Sports’ Football Competition is set for the Red Stripe Sports Complex on Sunday.

After a thrilling set of semi-final matches, Medley Mixers advanced with a 3-0 victory over Legacy, while Friends For Real edged Legend 1-0.

The climactic day will begin at 2 pm with an exhibition match between the Hunts Bay Police and GraceKennedy, followed by the third-place playoff between Legacy and Legend.

The closing ceremony will include the presentation of the Championship Trophy, along with cash prizes of $300,000 for the first-place team, $200,000 for the second-place and $100,000 for the third-place side.

There are also over $500,000 in prizes for Individual awards for top goal scorer, best defender, and most valuable player. Participation medals will be awarded to the top three teams.
