Caymanas Park is set to elevate its racing spectacle with the confirmed attendance of Grammy Award-winning artiste Estelle and American actor Stephen Bishop at the third Running of the Mouttet Mile, at Caymanas Park today.
Estelle, a renowned multi-hyphenate entertainer from West London, brings her star power to the racing event, highlighting the growing global interest in Jamaica’s premier horse racing experience. Known for her chart-topping hits like American Boy, featuring Kanye West, and her versatile musical portfolio spanning R&B, reggae, and dance genres, Estelle represents a perfect embodiment of cross-cultural entertainment.
“Estelle’s presence at the Mouttet Mile Invitational represents a pivotal moment for the Jamaican horse racing product,” said Solomon Sharpe, executive chairman at Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited, operators of Caymanas Park. “Her global profile not only brings international attention to our premier racing event but also showcases the intersection between music and sport that Jamaica is known for worldwide.”
Bishop, who currently stars as Dr Miles Fulton in the hit television drama, The Equalizer, has an impressive career-spanning television and cinema. His notable television credits include appearances in series such as Criminal Minds, Imposters, and Run the World. On the big screen, he has starred in acclaimed films, including Friday Night Lights, Moneyball, and Fatal Affair.
A former professional baseball player, Bishop said that he is “extremely excited to return to the place I fell in love with, Kingston Jamaica, to be a part of the Mouttet Mile at Caymanas Park”.
“Really looking forward to some great food, great music, great people, and to watching the horses run!” Bishop added.
This will be Bishop’s first visit to Jamaica since the summer of 2015 when he played a significant role in the Jamaica Film Festival.
Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) also announced a new partnership with Zimi Entertainment, noting that the collaboration “is designed to attract a younger, more vibrant crowd to the iconic Mouttet Mile and bring a fresh energy to the event”.
Nicholas Mahfood, CEO of Zimi Entertainment, said that his team “is excited to work alongside [Supreme Ventures] to bring the Mouttet Mile and the launch of Zimi Seh Brunch to life”.

The Mouttet Mile Invitational has quickly become a premier racing event, featuring a maximum field of 16 horses. The race carries a purse of US$250,000.
