The champions in both sections are continuing to set the standards in the points standings on day three of the 115th ISSA/Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Championships at the National Stadium.
Boys champions Kingston College who came into the third day on 47 points, are now on 55.5 points.
The famed purples bagged 8.5 points in the class three boys High Jump final after Jabari Nugent claimed second and Joshua Parchment finished 7th.
The top three in the final all cleared 1.78 meters as their best jump as Shamar Shaw of Calabar claimed the gold and Leondrae Thomas of Herbert Morrison bagged the bronze.
Calabar picked up additional points when Oraine Perkins finished fourth in the final, which has enabled them to move into second in the standings ahead of Jamaica College who are yet to add to their points tally of 29 from day two.
On the girls side, defending champions Edwin Allen continues to lead, but they’ve only added three points to the 56 they scored at the end of day two.
Holmwood remain second with the 49 points they scored on day two, while St. Jago picked up seven points so far on day three to remain third on 39 points.
The first gold on day three went to Sackoya Palmer of St. Mary High who scaled 1.65 meters to win the girls class three High Jump title.
