Economist: Gov’t Attempting to Juggle Responsibility and Key Investments

Economist and financial analyst, Dr. Adrian Stokes, says the government is engaging in a delicate balancing act of maintaining fiscal responsibility but making smart investments in key areas.

He was reacting to the finance minister’s Budget presentation in Parliament on Tuesday.

Dr. Stokes says with the increase in the country’s wage bill, there needs to be a greater thrust towards increasing productivity.
