DaCosta Dedicates Mouttet Mile Win to Late Father and Owner

Race horse trainer, Jason DaCosta, dedicated winning the Mouttet Mile to his late father Wayne and owner Carlton Watson.

“Fun Can Dun” at odds of 17-1 upset a strong field to win the third staging of the Mouttet Mile to run away with the US $250,000 purse at Caymanas Park, on the weekend.

Meanwhile, trainer Ian Parsard, says “Run Julie Run’s” triumph in the Chairman’s Plate highlights the quality of the thoroughbred.

Parsard says he has a lot to consider as it relates to the filly’s four-year-old racing career.
