Reggae crooner D'Yani has exclaimed surprise at the momentum building up for his upcoming United Kingdom (UK) tour.
"I'm still in shock that the early bird tickets were sold out so quickly, " he told THE WEEKEND STAR.
D'Yani, born Andre McCormack, is celebrating his first solo UK tour, titled 'Muse', and is already in rehearsal mode for the shows, which are scheduled for the end of this month. With plans to create a frenzy, teasing and pleasing the ladies in a steamy and swoon-worthy melody, he expressed sincere gratitude for the continued love and support.
"Everytime I step out on the stage, I give my all to my fans. This journey would be nothing without them," he said, adding, "The UK is always showing so much love. And I'm grateful and excited to be headlining this tour." These shows coincide with the release of his upcoming project, also titled Muse, set to drop this month.
"This is my very first project and I'm dedicating it to my female audience, which are my muses," he shared. He explained that, on Muse, the serenading songs are ones that stay true to his usual catalogue, but also show off an 'R&B-centric' and Euro-eclectic sound, similar to the international flavours found in tracks like Ambiance and Goddess. Previous releases include Lock N Key, Feelings, Senorita, and Life's Amazing.
Irrespective of local or international audiences, D'Yani aims to perform at the highest level at all time, creating a sense of luxury and revelry in his sound, all while providing a premium musical experience. With special guests, namely Maestro Don and IQ, looking to appear on the tour, the three-night line-up features shows at The Jam House in Birmingham on the 24th, Blues Kitchen in Manchester on the 25, and Islington Assembly Hall in London on the 26th.
Having performed in the UK last November, fans can expect a more mature D'Yani, "... giving a more in-depth look at where I am as an artiste and how I evoke creative expressions". He said the ladies are in for a treat.
"I'm all about the ladies. So, when they come, they will experience it for themselves."
