Online shoppers in the United States were expected to spend a record US $13.2 billion on Cyber Monday.
The estimate, which is according to online tracking firm Adobe Analytics, is 6.1 per cent more than last year.
It would make it the year’s biggest shopping day for e-commerce.
Adobe says online spending was expected to peak between the hours of 8 and 10 Monday night, reaching an estimated US 15.7 million spent every minute.
